This installation is constructed of over 300 aluminum cans, silkscreen printed with self-portraits from a time while drinking—some taken during, some just after. They’re stacked in unstable towers, placed in front of a large image from relapse. The installation is fragile by design.
Each can is a record: a face, a moment, a version of me I was trying to see or avoid. Some include printed “nutrition facts” that list the alcohol content, cost, and calories of the drinks that were in my personal rotation. I defined a “serving” not by the bottle, but by the amount it took to feel. It’s documentation, a personal archive-- a pile of questions without clear answers.
