How does addiction warp perception? How does something whole become fractured, and how often does recovery mean reassembling distorted parts? The modular structure lets me work with fragmentation while also building something solid, something that stands. The image of the dive is surrendering, but also exhibits flight-- the moment between falling apart and letting go.
The amber jars absorb and filter light. The body flickers in and out, depending on where you stand. That tension—between seeing clearly and not—is central to how I understand addiction, memory, and the effort to be visible again.
